Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from Crown Medical Skin Clinic (“the Clinic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Acceptance of Terms

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website. The provision of any service is subject to a professional assessment of your suitability and needs.

Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointment Booking: Appointments can be conveniently booked via our official website, by telephone during clinic operating hours, or in person at our reception desk. We strongly recommend booking your appointments in advance to ensure availability and secure your preferred time.
  • Appointment Confirmation: You will typically receive a confirmation of your booked appointment, usually through an automated SMS message or email. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are current.
  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: We understand that circumstances may arise requiring you to change your appointment. You will receive an automated text message reminder 24 hours before your appointment to confirm. Please reply “Yes” to confirm or “No” to cancel, or notify reception staff as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other patients.
  • Cancellation Fees: A cancellation fee of $20.00 may apply if you fail to give notice as required. This fee is not rebatable by Medicare or private health insurance.
  • No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without providing prior notice, a no-show fee will apply, which may be the full cost of the consultation/service. Subsequent appointments may require prepayment.
  • Late Arrivals: We strive to run on time for all appointments. If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but please be aware that your consultation or treatment time may need to be reduced to avoid delays for subsequent patients. The full fee for the scheduled appointment may still apply.

Payments and Billing

  • Fees: Crown Medical Skin Clinic is a private billing practice and does not offer bulk billing. Fees for all services will be clearly communicated to you prior to or at the time of your appointment. A detailed fee schedule is available for your review at our reception desk and may also be accessible on our website.
  • Payment Methods: We accept various convenient payment methods, including cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards.
  • Medicare Rebates: For eligible medical services, we can process your Medicare claim electronically on your behalf. To facilitate this, please ensure you have a valid Medicare card and any necessary referrals (if applicable) at the time of your appointment.
  • Private Health Insurance: For services that may be covered by private health insurance, it is your responsibility to check with your individual insurer regarding your eligibility for rebates and the specific terms of your policy.
  • Billing Policy: All payments are required at the completion of your appointment. Rebates from Medicare are instant at the front desk for eligible services.
